After interviewing many transition companies, I went with Dr. Bill Adams because of his genuine concern for finding me the right practice for my goals and values.  I'm glad I did.

My transition was as smooth and as uneventful as I could have hoped.  l am very pleased with the expertise and information offered by Dr. Adams.  Three years later, I still refer him to colleagues.

Dear Bill,
I hope this letter finds you and your staff doing well.  I have never written an endorsement letter like this before, but it is with great pleasure that I am doing it now.

Making the decision to sell my dental practice was an emotional roller coaster.  I knew I was ready to retire and move into the next stage of my life, but the process of selling, and the welfare of my staff and patients had me concerned.  Money was not the most important thing when selling my practice, but finding a buyer that would be philosophically in tune with me was imperative.  I wanted to honestly recommend the buyer to my patients knowing that he would treat them as I did.

Bill, thanks to you and your wonderful staff at Southeast Transition, we have had such a pleasant experience selling our dental practice.  I never thought the transition process would have moved so smooth or quickly.  Dr. Terry O'Shea was the perfect match for our patients and staff.  After witnessing the complicated and tortuous closing of his practice, I can truly appreciate the professional experience we had with you.

We are happy and privileged to recommend you and Southeast Transition to anyone who may need your help or advice to make their transition.  Retirement is all the fun everyone told us about and we are having a terrific time. Once again, thank you for everything.

Sincerely,
Dr. H. Richard Mintz, DDS

I have never written an endorsement letter of this nature before, but feel that my experience in selling my pediatric dental practice warrants one.  My experience was so pleasant that I would like to share it with anyone who finds himself or herself in a similar situation.

Increasingly I have had problems with arthritis in both hands, and in early 2005 it became obvious to me that I could no longer continue practicing pediatric dentistry in the manner that the patients required.  My intention was to find a suitable person to join me in my practice, reducing my work load.  In May, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and I made the decision to cease practicing altogether, as the hand pain had reached the stage where I could no longer operate a handpiece with any reliability on any kind of regular basis.

Bill Adams, DDS, of Southeast Transitions, was so very helpful to me along this journey; through the early ideas of finding an associate, then moving on to a complete sale.  Bill was very helpful and insightful.  Through his long years in practicing dentistry himself, Bill understood my plight and concerns.  He and his consultants were always empathetic and understanding.  As you might imagine, it has been an emotional roller coaster for me.

Money was not my prime motivator in the sale of my practice; after 35 years, many of my patients had grown up and were now bringing their own children to me.  In addition, I had a staff of 9, several of whom had been with me for almost 30 years.  I wanted to find an individual that would be philosophically in tune with me and would treat my staff and my patients in the manner to which they were accustomed.  This was absolutely imperative to me.

Bill and his staff, through their vast network of contacts, found such an individual for me.  The sale was smooth, the price generous, and the transition has been practically flawless.

If you believe that you will need help or advice during a transition of any kind, I strongly endorse Bill Adams, Southeast Transitions, 770-532-7123.

Respectfully,
James E. Kelley, DDS

To Whom It May Concern:

Working with Dr. Bill Adams was a very pleasurable experience.  His knowledge of practice transitions and the business of doing so is very complete; couple that with his years in private practice and knowledge of dentistry, and the results were easy. Bill's demeanor is very calm and reassuring.

Bill took what could have been a very maddening time in trying to merge two practices into one, and made it very manageable.

I would give my highest recommendation to Southeast Transitions, Dr Bill Adams and his staff.

It was a pleasure to work with a colleague and true expert in my practice transition.  There are so many t's to cross and i's to dot, but I feel we did them all.  I was totally happy and still am with the transition of my specialty practice.

Dr. Bill Adams created a true "win-win" situation for both parties, and we avoided the unfortunate complications and pit-falls that many practice transitions and sales have experienced.
